WHO ARE WE & WHY ARE WE DOING THIS

The Centre for Social Innovation is a non-profit social enterprise that is home to over 1,000 social mission organizations working in different sectors that put people and planet first. Over the last decade, we have created cultures of belonging and animated communities in our 6 locations across Toronto and New York.

At Ed Lives! we launch Toronto For Everyone and will invite you to co-create an inclusive city with us. It’s a joint project between CSI and our new charitable foundation and all donations will go to the Toronto for Everyone Fund. Donations to the Fund will do two things. First, you’ll ramp up our “How to Be An Ally” series to provide inspiring education to thousands of Torontonians about how they can become allies to communities under threat. Second, you’ll provide discounted space and support to charities and low-income people doing crucial work to build an inclusive city.

We believe that social innovation can only be achieved when everyone can be a part of the solution.

Together, we will make Toronto the most inclusive city in the world.

We are living in a time where the need to create and model inclusive communities is greater than ever. Hear from some of today’s most outstanding inclusive city-builders in Toronto and learn what it means to truly be an ally in these times. Charitable contributions to this event over $1,000 will be recognized as founding members of Toronto for Everyone.
